You Built Your Career on Competence

You've Done Everything Right.
You built your career on delivering results. Your team trusts you. Your colleagues rely on you. And yet something has shifted.
You watch people with fewer results and more fluff move up faster. You feel underestimated, passed over. You've been told you're "too precise," or that you need to work on your presence, and you can't quite work out what that means. Maybe you tell yourself you're just not political enough. Or maybe you wonder if you need to be someone other than who you are.
Here's what's actually happening: competence is essential. It got you here. But at senior leadership level, competence alone is no longer enough.
The dynamics that shape how you are heard, recognised, and advanced operate by rules you were never taught. Most capable women leaders never receive explicit mentorship in these dynamics. The good news is this is not a personality trait. It's a gap and opportunity in your leadership development, and it's entirely learnable.
That is exactly what Speak Up, Stand Out is designed to address.
Real Talk: What Gets in the Way
You’re not alone if you’ve ever thought...
"I'll invest in this when things calm down."
But the truth is, later rarely comes. The leaders who get recognised show up and do the work, even when it's busy.
"My results should speak for themselves."
They do speak. Just not always in the language the room is listening for. That's exactly what this programme teaches you.
"I've tried speaking up and it backfired."
Many women discover that a small, precise shift in how they communicate completely changes how people respond.
This is why every part of Speak Up, Stand Out is designed to meet you where you are, and help you keep showing up, even when life gets full.
What’s included:
We begin by getting clear on your specific goals and leadership context together. You receive:
1x Leadership Clarity Questionnaire
1x 1:1 Executive Strategy Session (60 minutes)
Your personal 12-Month Executive Blueprint (after your first session)
Then we build consistent quarterly, monthly and weekly rhythms to help you reach your objectives.
We start each quarter with an executive retreat to review what has worked and plan the next quarter. Each quarter, we also bring in a guest expert to expand on the most relevant leadership themes.
You get quarterly:
1x half-day Executive Planning Retreat (virtual), with a 90-day executive planner mailed to you.
A guest expert session to deepen insight and expand perspective.
All six SUSO modules are available as self-study online videos. You have lifetime access.
Twice-monthly 90-minute Monday sessions at 15:00 CET: question and answer and practice sessions where you can bring questions about any module, get direct answers, and apply them to your real situations. You will practise with other participants on the modules that matter most to them that week.
Module 1: Building Subconscious Rapport. Build instant connection for productive conversations, before a single agenda item is raised.
Module 2: Getting Agreement from the Get-Go. Get agreement with your ideas without all the pushback.
Module 3: Managing Conflicts. Walk into difficult situations with ease and confidence.

Module 6: Subconscious Persuasion. Use metaphors and storytelling to bring your ideas to life and get others on board with them.
Each module is practical and applied. You bring your real situations to the sessions and practise with peers who understand exactly what you're navigating.
Leadership is built in small, consistent moments. You will develop the habits that compound.
Through your executive planner, with sections designed for you to celebrate wins, identify patterns (helpful or hindering), connect with others, and ensure you are intentionally leading with and using your new skills.
In your inbox: Speak Up, Stand Out: Weekly Habits for Success. Quarterly cycles of focused habits sent weekly, starting in month 4, after you've completed modules 1-6 of the programme. Each habit is designed to help you apply the frameworks you're learning and build them into how you naturally lead.

The Ultimate Woman Leader's Resource Toolkit: checklists, journal prompts, and communication guides for virtual meetings, emotional resilience, cross-cultural communication, and leadership presence.

Managing Manipulators: recognising manipulative behaviour and responding in ways that protect your influence and wellbeing (also run live approximately once per quarter).
Relationships take time to build.
I've been coaching and training for decades, and what I've seen, working with hundreds of women, is that from the moment you say yes to when you see the results – perhaps a new role, a long-sought promotion, support for a transformation project, or a deep rethink of what you really want next – takes commitment.
The women who get results – who become the go-to leaders – do two things differently:
They decide to commit to their own development. Because it's yours. It compounds like interest and no one can take it from you.
They engage with a supportive community that helps them stay on track and find creative solutions to stubborn problems.
And if you want creative solutions and genuine support, where better to look than in a group of intelligent, committed, thoughtful, ambitious women leaders working together.
Your Options:
You can join for a minimum of six months, or commit to the full twelve-month journey. Both options give you access to the complete SUSO communication programme.
If you are ready to go further once your communication foundations are solid, the twelve-month programme expands into the leadership dimensions that position you at the most senior level: strategic presence, emotional regulation, authentic visibility, and how you are perceived and trusted when the stakes are highest. Women who complete the twelve months carry themselves differently. They are the leaders whose judgment is trusted, who navigate complex stakeholder dynamics with confidence, and who are genuinely seen as leaders who can be directive when necessary and hold psychological safety with ease.
There are also options to add private coaching when you join. Spaces are limited.
Private coaching with me is a space where women leaders can show up fully, no masks, no pressure to perform, no judgment, and safely explore the parts of themselves they want to grow or transform. It is a space of deep trust and radical honesty, where personal evolution happens at the pace and depth that is right for you.
The six-month programme is perfect if you are ready to build the core communication and influence skills that change how you are heard and recognised. You will master the six SUSO modules with live coaching, practical frameworks, and applied practice in real situations.
In Months 1-6 you will:

The twelve-month journey is for you if you are committed to building your communication foundations and then expanding into broader leadership authority. In the first four months, you master the SUSO frameworks completely. From month five, the programme expands into strategic presence, emotional regulation, visibility, and positioning at senior level.
You get everything from Level 1, plus in Months 5 to 12, you will:

The women who join Speak Up and Stand Out have already built strong careers.
They are respected for their expertise and trusted by their teams. Once they begin to understand how influence and conversation actually work, many notice changes surprisingly quickly.
They also find they do not need to change who they are to connect with stakeholders and position their work at the level it deserves.
Stephanie Sullivan
Clinic Director, USA
I was in correctional and prison systems where the male-dominated field dictated my mentors and style.
By the time I left, I was very concise and direct but was perceived not as assertive, but aggressive and immovable.
The tools and skills work.
I even have a sticky note on my computer that says "SUSO" to remind me to use the frameworks during video conferences.
Dr Zephorah Weru
HR Director, UK
This has been a very helpful course.
I wish I had known what I know now when I first entered leadership.
I realised there is a clear structure for handling situations, and I am grateful for the simple frameworks shared through the course.
Diana Georgieva
Global Experience Leader
I joined the Speak Up & Stand Out programme to learn more tools for collaborating with leaders across the organisation and building stronger stakeholder relationships.
I learned practical frameworks and influencing techniques to build influence and better manage conflicts both in and outside work.

I loved every session.
The persistent voice in my head kept saying:
"Why couldn’t I have learned all of this 20 years ago?"
Dr Cathy LaRocco
Physical Therapist & Researcher, Switzerland
After our work together, I was able to gradually re-enter the job market while respecting my personal values and health limitations.
Within a year I was working full time again, applying for management roles and developing new professional opportunities.
This is not the right fit if:
You are in the right place if:
And this is where many women begin to notice the real difference.
Many women leaders find that this continuity makes a significant difference.
Instead of trying to apply ideas on your own after a short training, you can bring real situations into the programme as they unfold. This may involve preparing for an important conversation, navigating a difficult stakeholder relationship, managing a challenging workplace dynamic, or stepping into a new leadership role.
Over time, this ongoing support allows the techniques to move beyond theory and become part of how you naturally communicate, make decisions, and lead.
Frequently Asked Questions
My organisation might fund this. How does that work?
Many participants have their participation funded by their employer. We provide everything you need to make that conversation straightforward, including a programme overview and an invoice in the format your finance team requires, whether that is bank transfer or credit card. If you would like support framing the conversation with your manager, send us an email at info@executivereflections.com and we can help with that too.
I am very busy. How much time does this require each week?
The live sessions run twice a month for 90 minutes each. Beyond that, you will work through the modules at your own pace, which adds roughly a couple of hours a month. In total, most participants find the commitment is around 60 to 90 minutes a week. And if you are wondering where to find that time, the Extra Hour Blueprint, included in the programme, is a practical exercise designed to help you reclaim hours currently lost to firefighting, unnecessary conflict, and other energy drains. The women who get the most from this programme are usually the busiest. That is the point.
I have tried things like this before and not seen results. Why would this be different?
Two things set Speak Up & Stand Out apart.
The first is continuity. Most leadership programmes, whether a single workshop or a university intensive, give you skills and then leave you to apply them alone. Speak Up & Stand Out is designed around the reality that real shift happens over time, with continued engagement, feedback, and support as you practise in your actual workplace. You are not left wondering "now what?"
The second is specificity. The frameworks in this programme are built for the exact dynamics women in leadership navigate. The feedback most capable women receive is personality-based, not skills-based, and standard leadership programmes do not address that gap. They also do not address the subconscious biases that prevent women from being heard and recognised at senior levels. This programme does both. Many women who have worked through other programmes find that the shift they were looking for becomes available here, without needing to change who they are at the core.
I am not sure whether the six-month or twelve-month programme is right for me.
The six-month programme is complete on its own. If you want focused, practical communication skill-building with clear results, start there.
If you are ready to go further, the twelve-month programme allows you to continue without interruption, building from your communication foundations into trusted leadership. It also gives you access to the full Executive Reflections training library, so you can develop any skill on demand as you need it, whether that is emotional resilience, pitching, performance management, change management, and more.
From an investment perspective, two separate six-month programmes would cost CHF 6,500. The twelve-month programme is CHF 5,900, over a month free in recognition of your longer commitment.
What if my situation is quite specific, for example a very technical field or a particular cultural dynamic at work?
The programme draws on Sima's experience as a former Global CIO working across industries and cultures internationally, and at the United Nations. The frameworks are precise enough to adapt to highly specific contexts, and flexible enough that you do not need a different framework for every situation.
Beyond that, you will be working alongside women from a wide range of sectors, industries, and backgrounds, and that matters more than it might seem. When a situation is highly specific, information alone, however good, will not give you what you need. This is not about a lack of information. It is about growth, coaching, and community. In this age of AI, that level of specificity and nuance is only truly deliverable through connection with other women leaders and your coach, who understand what you are navigating and can support you in developing through your specific situation. Your situation is not an edge case here. It is exactly what the coaching and the community are built for.
What if my workplace is genuinely difficult, or I'm already close to burning out?
You are not imagining it. Some environments are genuinely difficult, and some of what you are navigating may have very little to do with your communication skills.
One of the most powerful elements of Speak Up & Stand Out is the Managing Manipulators masterclass, a quarterly live session that Sima has also delivered inside organisations as part of anti-bullying and leadership development programmes, reaching hundreds of women leaders across sectors. It is one of her areas of deep expertise and lived experience.
This session does something specific: a clear framework for distinguishing toxic and manipulative behaviour from personality differences or difficult conversations. You will know this with clarity rather than doubt. If it is a toxic or manipulative person you are dealing with, you will have a step-by-step playbook for handling the situation effectively and definitively.
If you are in a genuinely difficult environment, this programme will not just help you communicate better. It will help you understand exactly what you are dealing with, and what to do about it.
When does the programme start?
You will discuss your start date with Sima in your Leadership Breakthrough Conversation. Enrolment normally begins at the start of each month. Your programme begins with your private one-to-one Strategy Session, which is scheduled after you join.
You Have Already Done the Hard Part
You spent years delivering results that should have opened every door.
You sat in rooms where your ideas were overlooked. You received feedback that felt more like criticism of your personality than guidance for your growth.
And you are still here. Still leading. Still committed to doing this well.
What you have not yet had is a precise, practical framework and skill set for the exact dynamics you are navigating.
That is what Speak Up, Stand Out gives you.
Not a new personality. Not a mask to wear. Just six specific skills, practised and embedded, that let the leader inside you be seen, heard, and recognised
One of the women in the most recent cohort put it simply: she realised she did not have to be a different kind of leader. Who she was, was fundamentally okay. She just needed a few small, intentional changes in how she approached certain conversations, and the recognition she had long deserved followed faster than she imagined.
That is what is available to you here.
